Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, its Rosita's, a hard to define but nonetheless charming restaurant. This Chinese-owned Southsea restaurant opened on the site of La Marghertia's, and the decor is a mite Chinese alongside European wine-bar foliage, high backed red chairs and blonde wood tables.
Music from the 80's and the 90's is the order of the day.

Rosita offered instant, warm hospitality, she showed me to a table by the window and the menu's were firmly in my hand in a nanosecond. The menus may be a little comfusing not knowing if the Occident or the Orient is the main attraction.

But superwoman Rosita has amazing powers of hospitality and a real can't-do-enough-for-my-costumers attitude. Plus she comes up with a fine bowl of Stroganoff. Carol Godsmark (The News)

Diners View : We came once before Rosita took over, and the food is much better now. My Cannelloni and Tiramisu was just the job and we like the kind of atmosphere here. George and Marianne (Portsmouth)
